I like the guy, I'd vote for him... but come on, there's not a chance in hell he's going to get elected. If the democrats put him on the ticket, they're going to lose miserably. This country is still overwhelmingly racist and having a name like 'Obama Hussein' is NOT going to help the cause. He's utterly, utterly doomed. He'll carry California, Massachusetts, New York, maybe a handful of other states... but lose everywhere else. The intelligentsia left will love him, but the labor class left will just have racial slurs. The reds will just laugh.

I'd have to agree.Obama will be a great democratic motivator, but it would be suicide for the party to put him on the top of the ticket. He won't have a solid chance for at least 10-14 years when the X and Y generations will hold the political power.He needs more experience anyway.
